All About Amphibians...
OBJECTIVES:
I CAN tell what an amphibian is.

LEARN:
- Amphibians have "two-lives". Animals in this group live part of their life underwater where they breathe with gills. Then they live the rest of their life on land breathing with lungs.
- Amphibians are vertebrates. We know that this means amphibians have a backbone or spine. This helps them hold their shape.
- Amphibians are cold-blooded. Like reptiles, amphibians body temperature depends on the temperature around them.
- Some more examples are toads, frogs, salamanders, and newts.
